I Spy on the Farm

Down on the farm there are many colorful and noisy animals to spy. Look through the spy hole and use the clues to guess which one is next. Then turn the page to reveal the animal. Watch as young children quickly become engaged in the game — joining in with the animal noises, learning colors, and eventually recognizing the letters.

On the Farm

Pre-school children will enjoy placing the colorful magnetic pieces in this fun-filled title illustrated by Barry Green. Once the magnets have all been placed, a giant play scene can be folded out from the back of the book, so children can create their own farm scenes.

Spot Goes to the Farm

Toddlers love baby animals. So does Spot! Join Spot as he visits his dad, working on the farm, and help Spot look for baby animals. Animal sounds pique Spot’s curiosity, and lift-the-flaps reveal who is underneath. After an adventurous search for baby animals, Spot finally finds a litter of kittens. This board book also features a full-color cover, with rounded-edge, sturdy pages that will stand the test of time.

The Farm Book

This read-aloud book about life on the farm is perfect for all children ages 3 and up. This delightful illustrated book, with vibrant color pictures, details the daily routines of Betty and Bobby, and their farm animal friends the sheep, the pigs, the ponies, the chickens, the cows, and the geese.

Food from Farms

There are many different kinds of farms, and some farms produce only vegetables while others produce just fruit, and still others produce types of meat or poultry. Find out about the different kinds of foods that are raised on farms around the world in this introduction to the world of farming.

Goodnight Tractor

Night Night Farm

It’s nighttime down on the farm. The animals are in the barn and it’s time to say a soft and cozy, “Night, night.” Say goodnight to the horse, the dog, and all their farm friends, as you turn the shaped pages and watch as the animals go to sleep, one by one. Perfect for settling your little one into bed and ending with your own, quiet, “Night, night.” With irresistibly sweet illustrations and a magical sky of glow-in-the-dark stars, Night Night Farm is the perfect way to end the day.

Go to Sleep, Little Farm

Nighttime blankets a little farm. An owl who-hoots. A bear curls up in a log. A mother fox calls her pups home to the den. But animals aren’t the only ones preparing to rest. In the tradition of Margaret Wise Brown, with classically styled picture book illustrations and fresh, childlike imagery, this poetic bedtime book, as peaceful as it is warm, will wrap young ones in the comforts of routine. Soft covers, rounded corners, and sturdy board book pages make this padded edition the perfect bedtime companion. Now is the time for dreams.

The Jolly Barnyard

It’s Farmer Brown’s birthday, and the animals are deciding what they’ll do for him on his special day. “Cluck! I will give him eggs,” said the hen. / Said the rooster, “I’ll wake him in the mornings, then.” / “Baa-aa, we’ll give him wool,” said the sheep. / “For our fleece is soft and warm and deep.”

Farmyard Beat

Author Lindsey Craig teams up with Arthur creator and bestselling artist Marc Brown in a toe-tapping farmyard dance-a-thon–perfect for toddler and preschooler read-alouds. As soon as the sun goes down, the animals are up! (“Sheep can’t sleep, sheep can’t sleep, sheep can’t sleep ’cause they got that beat!”) Before long, there’s a giant farmyard dance party, complete with funny animal sounds. But what happens when all the racket wakes up Farmer Sue? Here’s a colorful bedtime story that begs to be read aloud.

Cock-a-Doodle-Doo! Barnyard Hullabaloo

The rooster wakes the farm up with a cock-a-doodle-doo! The sheepdog won’t stop barking, and the cows begin to moo! Children will love to explore the bright and noisy barnyard in this wonderful collection of poems from the award-winning author and illustrator team of Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz.

Big Red Barn

Margaret Wise Brown’s simple, rhythmic text about the cycle of a day on a farm, where a family of animals peacefully plays and sleeps, has charmed generations of children. This board book edition features sturdy pages and is just the right size for toddlers. As in her classic Goodnight Moon, Brown engages children and helps settle them down for sleep as they follow along with the animals from morning to night in the barnyard.

Pete the Cat: Old MacDonald Had a Farm

There are five giant flaps and five pop-ups total, and kids will lift the flaps to find Hen, Pig, Sheep, and Horse before finding Little Calf!

Mrs. Wishy-Washy’s Farm

Uh-oh. Mrs. Wishy-Washy is at it again. Rubbing and scrubbing all the animals on the farm. But this time they aren’t standing for it. Duck, Cow, and Pig are leaving mean old Mrs. Wishy-Washy for good! They run away to the big city. But they get lost, wander into a restaurant, and even stumble into a hardware store and get covered in paint! Where is Mrs. Wishy-Washy when they need her? Maybe her farm isn’t so bad after all . . .
