This lapbook is perfect for the beginning of the year. Your learners will be able to see what they have in common with their new friends. From similar interests to eye color they are sure to make connections.
All About Me Facts
This lapbook has a section that focuses on facts about each student. Their name, age, hair color, eye color and birthday are up front and center.
All About My Talents and Dreams
Then, it’s time for the kids to get a little creative. They will be able to think about what they want to be when they grow up and a special talent or skill they have. Your learners can illustrate and write about these questions using the flapbooks provided.
All About My Favorite Things
Your learners can also complete a flipbook focusing on their favorite things. From their favorite color to their favorite toy, they can illustrate and label what they love most. This section is a great tool for getting learners talking about common interests.
All About My Family
The final portion of the lapbook focuses on family. Your learners can share where they live, who they share their home with and draw a picture of the family.
The best thing about the way this is set up is that if your learners have more than one family or home they are able to complete more than one page, staple them together and glue them to the back of their lapbook.
Once your learners complete their lapbooks you can easily add them to your classroom library. That way they are able to read and learn about their classmates all year long…how awesome is that!!
