Christmas Digital Activities for Little Learners

This post may contain affiliate links.  Please read our disclosure here.

Christmas time in the classroom is always one of my favorite times of the school year. Not only do we learn more about the Christmas holiday, but we learn about other traditions and cultures as well. No matter how diverse our classroom is, we always have fun this time of year. And when I throw in digital resources, my kids get even more excited. These Christmas digital activities will bring fun and joy to your classroom!

New to Digital Assignments?

No worries! This free resource is compatible with Google Slides™ and Seesaw™. Both platforms are a great option. Most districts will decide what platform they recommend, so I offered these resources for both.

If you’re new to Google Slides™, you can read more from the post below:

These simple steps will get you set up in no time!

If you’re new to Seesaw™, you can head over to their website and find out how to assign activities to your class!

Santa’s Syllables

This digital activity focuses on syllables. Syllables are a very important skill for beginner readers. Breaking words into syllables help readers sound words out easier, helps the decoding process and learners will understand how words are spelled through syllables. This activity focuses on all the Christmas words and your learner will love breaking them apart. Each slide contains a holiday picture with 3 choices. Just click the option and move to the next slide!

Gingerbread Addition

When I taught Kindergarten, we introduced addition skills around this time of year. Holiday treats were always a hit when we practiced addition. But when you don’t have that option, this digital activity is a great alternative! Each slide contains 2 trays of gingerbread men. Your learner will use the visuals to create an addition problem along with a space to solve it!

These Christmas digital activities is one way to bring some fun and excitement to your classroom. Grab your free resources by clicking the download button below!
