Fourth of July is right around the corner! I love all the activities we bring out to lead up to our country’s Independence Day! I’ve got some amazing activities for you that takes little to no prep!
Find a Great Book!
I’ve got a list of my favorite books all about America! I like to pull them out and place them on my bookshelves in our playroom. It provides an opportunity for my kids to explore these books on their own without me begging to read them.
No Prep Activities
My Fourth of July resource is full of fun literacy activities. It starts off with a tracing page of vocabulary words that are centered around Independence Day! This is a great activity for your early writers to help with letter formation, but it also helps your beginner readers with word recognition!
Another resource that’s included is my emergent reader. This is a great resource for your beginner readers to understand that words build sentences, the correct reading direction and spacing between words. Your little learners may also learn some sight words!
The last pages of this resource are for your beginners! This Fourth of July resource includes a tracing page along with cutting practice to focus on fine motor skills!
This resource is perfect for all levels of learners in the early elementary grades! It’s a great way to bring some learning to your summer fun. You can grab this FREE resource by clicking the download link below!
