HALLOWEEN COUNTING MATS FOR LITTLE LEARNERS

This post may contain affiliate links.  Please read our disclosure here.

Halloween is right around the corner. It’s such an exciting time for little ones between the costumes and the tons of candy they receive! But you can also bring some fun, engaging learning activities during this time even with all the craziness. Bring the candy to the table with these fun Halloween counting mats!

Perfect for Number Recognition

These Halloween counting mats run all the way up to 20, so they can be used for many levels of learners. Simply print, laminate and cut out each mat. Candy images are included, but you can use your child’s Halloween candy to practice counting!

Activities like these seem so simple, but the one to one correspondence really helps early learners understand the value of numbers.

Get your little ones excited about counting and download these number mats below!

Looking for More Halloween Activities?

I love Halloween, and coming up with learning activities for Halloween is so much fun. Below are some fun activities that range from all subjects to help get your little ones excited for the upcoming spooky festivities!

To continue with counting, here is more Halloween counting mats that work on number recognition, counting and number formation.

Maybe your little ones are ready to jump to basic addition skills! These number cards with pictures are a great way to introduce this new skill!

Maybe you’re looking for more hands on activities! When my kids were little, these two activities were a hit!

You probably have some corn starch in your pantry? Grab that and some water (and orange food coloring!) and you have a fun hands on activity.

If you have little ones at home, I know you have play dough! All you need is play dough and some fun Halloween supplies and you have yourself an Invitation to Create center!

All of these activities are perfect for a preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom! Pair these activities with the activities in my Halloween Thematic Unit, and all of your planning is done! Be sure to grab my Halloween Counting Mats below!
