The holidays are an exciting time for everyone! It’s such a magical time for the kids. The treats, holiday movies, and the decorations make it the most exciting. But if you’re a classroom teacher or parent, you know that our little ones tend to forget the expectations when they are so excited! You find yourself repeating instructions and reminding your little ones of your expectations, and it can be exhausting. Don’t let the holidays stress you out. These holiday incentive charts are exactly what you need this holiday season!
So Many Options!
When I was in the classroom, I remembered how crazy things got so these came in handy to help reinforce expectations. When a student filled their card with good behavior days, they got to choose from a list of rewards. There are so many options for rewards in the classroom: lunch with a friend and the teacher, extra computer time, buddy lunches, etc. But these incentive charts can be used for so many more things!
Reading Program
Grab these fun holiday stickers and send your student home with stickers and an incentive card. Want them to read over the long break? These cards can do just that! When they read for a certain amount of time, they can add a sticker in a box. After the break is over, they return their card for a fun reward!
Chores Around the House
If you’re home with your kids during the holiday break, these incentive charts are a great resource to have in your home for chores. My kids know these incentive charts well, and when I get them out, they know they are going to work towards something they want! I love getting help around the house during the break. With all the family in town, I want the house to look nice. And the kids are old enough to help so I don’t mind using these charts to help me out! Chores get done pretty quickly and my kids get a small reward for their help!
