PIRATE SIGHT WORD BINGO

I love a good theme anytime I can make it work for my instruction and pirates are no different.  My learners love playing bingo during small groups and literacy centers so, of course, this editable sight word bingo game is just perfect.

What’s Your Sight Word List?

However, finding sight word activities that meet your learner’s needs can be challenging.  Since many schools and classrooms use a different word list, using an editable resource is certainly a must. This resource can easily be adjusted to grow with your learners in as well as align with your instruction.

Editable Made Easy!

Now, there are a couple of things you’ll need in order to edit your resource. First, be sure to have the font KG Blank Space Solid installed on your computer. Then you’ll need an updated version of Adobe Reader.

And lastly, when you open the file in Adobe Reader, you will be able to see the editable fields.  Simply change the words on the word cards, and the bingo boards will automatically change.

Super easy!

What You’ll Need

Finally, prepping your instruction or centers with this sight word activity is super easy.

Materials needed:

All you need to do is print the bingo boards, cut out the cards and use the gold coins or bingo markers included.

Then, add it to your centers or your lesson plan and you are golden!

Sight Words and More!

The best part about this editable game is that you are not limited to sight words.  Because the text in this resource can be changed, you can create an alphabet, word family or number bingo.

Seriously, how awesome is that?!?!
