Healthy food leads to healthy teeth! It’s Dental Hygiene month and we are spending a ton of time on taking care of our teeth!

Dental Hygiene Unit

My Dental Hygiene unit includes many engaging activities. You’ll bring the excitement back to brushing teeth. And you’ll have parents thanking you!

This unit has everything you need for a full week of activities. From experiments to hands on activities your students will be glued to this unit. I include a detailed lesson plan that takes planning off your plate. A list of great dental themed books are included. No need to search amazon forever!

Healthy Food Healthy Teeth

One of the lessons in my unit is all about making good food choices. Because making good food choices leads to healthy teeth! I like to bring real examples of healthy and unhealthy food. A lot of my kids notice that most unhealthy food comes in packages and has nutrition information. Healthy food doesn’t have those things because they are grown in nature. However, there are some healthy foods that come in packaging like milk, eggs, and yogurt.

After our lesson on healthy foods, I provide these activities for my students to complete while I’m catching up in small groups. It’s an easy way to assess what they learned with no hassle! You can grab this FREE Healthy Foods Healthy Teeth activities by clicking the link below! You can also find my Dental Hygiene unit in my TpT Store or MJCS store!
