Are you planning a road trip with your little ones soon? We just returned from a trip to Florida which consisted of 2 days driving there and 2 days coming back. I created road trip printables for my son, gave him some dry erase crayons and we set off on our trip.
The best part about this pack is that it can be spread throughout the trip. We did a couple pages here and there. First, we filled in the alphabet hunt and marked off our scavenger hunt as we drove. I laminated the pages and used metal rings to create a booklet for Grayson to use.
We used these plastic trays on the road trip for our booklet, games, coloring and eating. They were small and sturdy which worked perfectly.
I decided to get dry erase crayons instead of markers because honestly, who wants to clean up markers on the seats after a long road trip! The crayons were perfect and wiped off the pages easily with a sock.
The pack has pages that focus on a variety of things. Activities such as letter recognition, numbers, and simple math. The alphabet hunt and scavenger hunt was some of Grayson’s favorites!
If you have a little one from pre-k to first grade, this pack is the perfect resource to add to your road trip box of tricks.
Now don’t get me wrong, with 4 days total on the road, each of the kiddos had a bin with different activities. We brought their Leap Pads, coloring books, puzzles, and small toys.
