Science Safety for Little Learners

Safety in the classroom is extremely important. Teachers go over so many rules and expectations to keep their little learners safe. Because safety rules are listed in kindergarten and first grade standards, it’s a must to go over in the classroom. I like to teach safety rules during my science block. This science safety poster works well when introducing rules in the classroom.

Science Experiements

Yes! Fun experiments happen in even the kindergarten classrooms. So it’s important to go over science safety before you begin your first experiment. Even though the activities are pretty basic with no dangerous chemicals or liquids, your learners are still introduced to new tools. And those tools have to be treated carefully.

A Good Fit for the Science Notebook

I like to put this safety poster in the front cover of our science notebook. This way it’s easy to find and the first thing my learners see when they open their notebook for a lesson.

I also like to place it in my science area or science centers so it’s the first thing they see before they start an activity.

Send or email a copy home so even parents are aware of the rules during science.

You can grab this free poster to put in your classroom right now! Print, laminate and use now in your classroom!
