The Birth Of Jesus Activities

The birth of Jesus is a special day for all Christians and the center around our holiday season. It also means bible classes are all centered around this special day! My Birth of Jesus activities will bring lots of smiles to your little ones this holiday season.

Easy Prep!

Being a volunteer at church is something I love to do, however, I have a very busy life. I don’t have hours and hours to plan activities for every Sunday. When planning this bible unit, my main goal was to free up time for children ministers, coordinators and volunteers. All of my bible resources include lesson plans along with engaging activities from center activities to fun crafts.

Whole Group Lesson

The focus of this lesson is to show my little ones that God’s gift to us is JESUS! Jesus is very precious to God, and because he loves US, he gave him to us. We start by reading the story of Jesus‘ birth in our bibles. Most know this story and they love sharing what they know.

Small Group and Centers

I can’t help it. I love bringing the structure of a classroom to my bible class. Most of the kids are familiar with it, and this type of structure keeps them moving and engaged. This Birth of Jesus activity does just that. My students in my class love interactive poems, so I felt it was a great time to bring them to my bible class. With this interactive poem, your learners will be able to add a different animal to the poem each time they read it. Not only will it help them remember the story, but they also get to practice reading.

Bible Craft

Of course, bible lessons always have crafts! This craft is simple and easy to do even for the youngest of learners. Jesus is a gift from God and what a better way to teach that than with this craft. For older kids, they can cut the gift template on their own; younger learners may need some help. Color the gift box along with the picture of Baby Jesus. Glue and you’re all set!

Bible Verse

Every unit of mine has a bible verse we like to focus on. Each page is traceable for early writers, and your learners can take the verse home on paper AND a bracelet!

Bring this fun bible lesson of the Birth of Jesus to your bible class. It’s such a great time to celebrate our Savior! You can purchase this bible lesson by clicking the link below!
